ODA Seniors Celebrate Their Upcoming Graduation at Grad Bash!

Grad Bash is a night that high school seniors anticipate all year long. Every year, seniors from all over America gather at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to celebrate their upcoming commencements.  On Friday, April 4, ODA’s class of 2014 headed up to Orlando for this celebration. Prior to the event, the kids planning to go were incredibly excited.

“I’ve been hearing about how fun Grad Bash is for the past three years. I can’t wait to finally get to go!” says senior Zoe Genkin.

“I’m excited to go to Harry Potter world. I love butter beer!” says Quinton Fitzgerald.

At Grad Bash, seniors get the chance to explore both of Universal Studio’s amusement parks. At 7:00 pm, the park closes, and re opens until 2:00 am exclusively for high school seniors and their chaperones. Students get the opportunity to make amazing memories with their friends, and experience the rides and attractions that people from all over the world come to see.

At Grad Bash, seniors get to experience the exciting world of Universal in a way that not may other people get to see it. The copious amounts of rides and simulators are enough the get everyone excited, and on top of that, every year there is a musical guest featured at Grad Bash. This year, it was ne-yo, and everybody loved him! Not only do students get to experience the fun of being surrounded just by other kids their age, but they also get to make memories with their friends that will last a lifetime.

The ODA seniors were not let down by their high expectations of grad bash; all of the students and the chaperones had a great time! It was definitely a night to remember, and an event that ODA cannot wait to participate in again next year.
