Max Provost

Zach Hoppe, senior, is a member of the varsity football team and captain on the varsity baseball team. Zach has been playing baseball for 13 years. Currently he is the starting pitcher but also plays outfield. So far this year, the baseball team hasn’t lost a game all season. As the team pitcher, Zach has helped them greatly. Zach’s brother and teammate, Austin Hopee (’15) said, “He’s an essential part of our team. Every game he has pitched we have dominated and shut the other team down.”

Zach holds very high standards for his teammates. Joe Grano,’12, said, “It’s great to have a guy like Zach as one of the captains.” Mr. Beaulieu, the athletic director told about how Zach has to be a positive role model for the team. Since the team is mostly 8th and 9th graders, they need someone to look up to, and he does an exceptional job by being the role model they are looking for.

Zach plans to keep on playing by earning a scholarship to play for a college level baseball team. We will miss him next year. Good luck Zach.
