Tuesday night, under the lights, the Men’s Varsity soccer team shut out the Bradenton Christian Panthers.

Senior, Tait Lystad, led the team scoring the first goal of the game. He continued leading the team scoring two more goals. He got the first “hat trick” of the season, a term that describes when a player scores three goals in one game.

Junior, Carson Jungers, scored the other two goals, which brought the final score up to 5-0.

There were lots of fans in the stands to cheer on the Thunder, including some of the Women’s Varsity soccer players. Sophomore, Lauren Redington, said, “I love coming out to show support and school spirit!”

Taylor Albano, a junior, said, “I think they played a really good game!”

This was their second district game of the season making their district record 1-1 due to their loss against St. Stephens last week. They play again, tonight at home at 6:00 pm, so come out to see the Men’s Varsity Soccer bring it to the Bayshore Bruins!
