Senior Internship Veterans Reflect on Their Experience
January 31, 2013
Each spring, ODA seniors head out into the community for three weeks of internship experience in the field of their choosing. During this time, all regular classes (though not AP classes) come to a close to allow students to intern during the work week. Students are expected to find their own position, negotiate and arrange work, and satisfy the expectations of both their employers and the ODA internship program. As the second semester gets off to a start, the need to make arrangements begins to gnaw in the back of seniors’ minds.
At the end of each internship experience in May, students are required to participate in exit interviews with ODA faculty. The video that is attached here represents a small sampling of those interviews from students who graduated in 2012.
Get ready, prepped, and excited for your internships, Seniors!
