Clean and ready for the game!

This Friday is the Homecoming football game for the ODA Thunder.

Homecoming is one of the most important games of the year; it is one of the most anticipated games. This year, the Thunder face a team that is not all that new to them. They play Southwest Florida Christian Academy, a team that they have beaten in past years.

The game kicks-off at 7:00 in Thunder Stadium. Thunder will fight to establish an early lead to the halftime while cheerleaders enliven the crowd. At halftime the winners of Homecoming Court will all be brought onto the field. The girls in the court will be dressed formally, but male winners are required only to wear shirts and ties.

Behind the endzone tables will be set especially for alumni, our guests of honor. From this privileged position, they will enjoy the game and cheer on their former high school.

The Thunder are coming off a 27-14 win over Imagine School, so they are feeling very strong and should come out hard to win another game, sending their record to 4-3. This win would be the first time this season that the team has more wins than losses.

Fans are all going to be wearing blue and white. The crowd should be huge and very loud!

If you have not yet seen the Thunder play a game, Friday is your opportunity to see one!
