On Friday, September 14th, ODA students will be going to Siesta Key beach for their first field trip of the year. Students will separate into their advisory groups, and spread out throughout the pan of the beach, looking for trash. Prizes such as homework passes will be given out to the student(s) with the most trash, most unique piece of garbage, and more. After picking up trash for a few hours, celebrate your success by enjoying a burger straight off the grill and swimming in the ocean. After a great day at the beach, you can either leave with your parents straight from Siesta, or hop on a bus back to the ODA campus. Don’t miss out on a productive, yet fun-filled day at the beach. Just make sure your field trip form in filled out and turned in!
