Tyler Barlow, Staff Writer
Tyler Barlow is a tiny bundle of sarcasm, wit, fire, and crazy - which she recently learned was genetic. This summer after 15 years of no communication, Tyler was picked up by her extended family from the train station and immediately taken to a shooting range as a welcome back to the family. It was an experience to say the least. A junior, who loves to write and ask questions about everything, she has decided this year to try her hand at journalism. Tyler was born in Rockville, Maryland, and then proceeded to spend the first years of her life in a tiny mountain top house in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, before moving to Florida. Tyler loves traveling and has been traveling her entire life by either boat, car, or plane with her four siblings and mother. Over her travels, she has developed a passion for social justice , management, and recording her journeys. Her most recent journey was her solo trip to Mishawaka, Indiana, to explore her family history. Tyler can often be seen running across campus from class to either volleyball, one of the school concessions stands, one of her many clubs, or the theater's backstage usually with a tin of brownies in her hands.
