Imagine playing one-on-one with one of the best basketball players in the world, Lebron James…

Now imagine getting a personal lesson from Lebron…

What would it be like?

Freshman Emily Lui has an opportunity similar to that of a private lesson with Lebron James this fall as she takes part in the All State Florida Orchestra for 9-10 grades and the Perlman Super-Strings Orchestra. “The Perlman Music Program / Suncoast encourages artistic development and camaraderie among young international string musicians via a nurturing non-competitive world renowned music education program.”

“I am super excited to have such a great opportunity. I am really looking forward to it” says Emily.

While a part of the Super-Strings Orchestra, Emily will get the chance to work with the world renowned composer Itzhak Perlman. They are working together to create an epic composition of music called Bach Double Violin Concerto. She is really happy on how the piece is turning out and hopes to have the full version completed and ready to be preformed in the near future.

Music has always been apart of Emily Lui’s life. She began having a musical connection at a young age, learning to play the piano at the age of 4 and learning how to play the violin at the age of 11. Through the years, Emily has progressed in her music and is now one of the best violinists in the area.

Emily Lui is definitely someone to look out for. With her incredible musical talents and her outstanding personality, she is an amazing person and musician. Come see her preform in the Orchestra this year.
