What will the outcome be this year? Will you be in attendance at the most anticipated game of the season?

This Thursday, the boys Varsity baseball team will be taking on Cardinal Mooney at ODA. The last time these two teams met was in the District championship last year when ODA beat the Cougars 13-4. These rivals have had quite the history of intense games in the past. Each game goes back and forth between the victor and the loser.

Players on the ODA team are getting pumped for the district game coming up. Jimmy Kuebler, a junior on the team, said, “We’re going pretty confident, our pitcher Austin is going to go in throwing strikes, and we are going to back him up with some offense. I think with that we will come out with a victory.”

Coach of the Thunder, Tim Orlasky, said, “I am very confidant in my team they can play with anyone they want to. As long as we execute our assignments and throw strikes we will win this game.”
