Over the summer, students, grades 9-12, were asked to read Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist. Upon arriving back to school, students were greeted with a quiz on the subject matter. Well, the scores are in. Time to see which grade reigns supreme in summer reading.

Fittingly, seniors proved their seniority by averaging an amazing 90%. Juniors and sophomores weren’t too far behind with a fair 80%. Unfortunately, the freshman finished last with an average of 70%. Summer’s over, freshman. It’s time to brush up on those reading skills!
