“When I came here it was just a natural fit to be a faculty mentor for the GSA. I just think that LGBTQ students, and young people need a lot of support. A lot of LGBTQ youth doesn’t find support from their friends, their families, or their religious communities, and so it can be a really isolating experience. And the reason that clubs like GSA exist is to create a safe space for LGBTQ students, and their allies.”
