“To be honest, he asked me out of the blue if he could could come to work with me. So I got him up at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning and brought him to be my sous chef at work. I thought it would be a good experience for him to show him how hard it was to work. I think it will keep him in school if anything. He doesn’t have much interest in cooking at home, but I was proud he wanted me to mentor him in cooking that one day.”
