El Clasico set in Miami
May 11, 2017
One of the greatest rivalries in sports history is coming to Miami this summer. The game is set in the International Champions League. The game is at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins. The date of the match is set to be July 29.
Stephen Ross, owner of the Miami Dolphins, owns the International Champions League. Ross said that if the two teams were to meet, he would have to have them play at his stadium. The announcement of the match was told by Hristo Stocihkov and Roberto Carlos, legends of the two clubs.
The game between the two teams will likely feature Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr. Real Madrid is likely to showcase Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale.
This is big for the U.S because it is the first El Clasico between the two teams held in North America. Barcelona is reported to supposedly play Juventus on July 22 at MetLife Stadium, and Manchester United on July 26 at FedEx Field. However the location of those games have not yet been determined.
Tickets for the game are averaging from around $400-$4200. The tickets are available now but are running down quickly.
