Tuesday Night the Women’s Varsity Soccer team fought hard against the Sarasota Christian Sailors ending the game in a tie. The Thunder hustled until the very last minute of the game.

Eighth grader, number 8, Abby Lagasse, took on two defenders and scored the first goal of the game. The sailors brought the score to 1-1 in the first half, tying the game.

In the third quarter of the game the Sailors scored a second goal creating a 2-1 lead.

Lexi Murphy, number 3, also an eighth grader, scored a second goal for the Thunder in the third quarter, tying up the score to 2-2. The Thunder fought hard until the end but ended the game in a tie.

Junior, Catherine Williams, played a hard fought game leading the team on the defensive end.  “I think we played a good game. We could have won. We’ll get em’ next time.”

The Lady Thunder plays the Sailors again next Friday night at home at 5:00 pm so come out and support!
