The ODA crowd dressed out in all white for their first home game of the season against Bradenton Christian School, Friday night, under the lights.

In the middle of the first quarter, BCS made a field goal setting the score to 0- 3 with five minutes left in the first quarter.

With two minutes and 41 seconds left in the first quarter, Senior, Max Provost, number fifty two, sacked BCS quarterback for a safety giving ODA two points on the board. BCS ended the 1st quarter with a touchdown making the score 10 -2 BCS.

ODA freshman, Jason Fineberg, number six, made a significant run after receiving the ball from quarter back, junior, Jimmy Kuebler, number two. Kuebler handed off the ball to Fineberg who rolled and dogged BCS’s defense for a 17 yard run. Fineberg continued to make runs trying to help out the Thunder throughout the game.

After the game Fineberg said he played “All right for a freshman” and has goals to “become faster and stronger”.

Out-of-Door coach, Brian Hudson, rallied five of his players together as the first half was coming to an end and said with heart, “Dig deep and have some more pride!” encouraging the players to go all out, with one minute left in the first half.

ODA ended the first half strong, with a touchdown by junior, Austin Hoppe number 21.

During half time head coach Brett Timmons gave some words of motivation to the team, saying, “We started off slow but it isn’t about how you start, it’s about how you finish.”
