ODA Quarantine Concert 2020: Chorus Soloists
August 20, 2020
Due to Covid-19, Arts Day was canceled this year. Arts Day is when students show off their musical and artistic talents. Even though Arts Day was canceled, many incredible singers still wished to perform! Therefore, the chorus classes made their concert virtual.
Two of the videos from the Quarantine Concert were soloist pieces. One video presents Broadway songs such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Thoroughly Modern Milly,” while another video features Pop songs such as “Feeling Good” and “All of Me.” These videos were made to show off the individualistic, amazing singing skills of the ODA chorus students.
The Pop soloist singers, in order of the video, are Hannah Wahl ’23, Cahan Raymond ’25, Madisyn Wandall ’22, Liam Frangos ’23, and Olivia Millin ’23.
The Broadway soloist singers are two middle schoolers named Bella Cogan and Charley Hunn.
Make sure not to overlook all of the other astounding student music videos. One video, out of many, presents the combined talent of the Lower School, the Middle School, the Upper School, and an alumnus! The combination of voices and background violinist will be sure to give you chills.
