ODA Students Crack Open a Book For Summer Reading
May 17, 2017
This year’s summer reading for ODA students is taking on a new dimension. Instead of reading texts assigned for specific classes, students have been invited to choose a book from a diverse list of texts curated by faculty and staff.
“Returning students have committed to reading one of the texts… as their summer reading for this year’s Upper School Book Club. A confirmation of their choice can be found in their school email. Students should commit to fully reading the book they selected. Incoming students should select one of the listed texts to read this summer and be prepared to join a book talk when school resumes,” says the Book Club description on the book ordering site.
At the start of school, faculty and students will discuss their selected texts to kick off the year. Click here to find your book and order it.
